Handle Extender
I bought a big chaise recliner, but I had trouble reaching the handle. I looked at medical supply places for some type of handle to replace what was on the chair. I checked on Amazon and came across the Lever Extender for Easy Chairs. It is WONDERFUL and does exactly what I wanted. I can reach the handle without pulling on the arm of the chair and wearing it out before it's time. I couldn't live without it!

Narrow levers need help too
For those who cannot reach the lever of your recliner, this is so helpful. Easy to attach. I bought a new recliner as I no longer had the physical ability to push foot rest down with legs. Did not want electric as chair is in middle of room and no floor outlet to plug into. Found I had trouble finding and reaching the narrow wood lever; by adding this, I have better leverage and the width of handle makes it easier to reach and use.

When used with the Lane 1407/Comfort King line
This little accessory/helper is AWESOME. It attaches securely and when installed correctly, is angled away from the side of your recliner just the right amount. I'm using it on a Lane 1407 Comfort King. I'm a big and strong guy, but of average height. Being able to open and close your chair doesn't come down to strength with this particular series. It's a matter of arm length. Unless you're VERY tall or have unusually long arms, you're gonna have an issue with this particular chair. This handle ELIMINATES all issues regarding the Lane factory handle being inadequate or poorly designed. If your recliner handle is too short, this IS the answer.

Exceeded expectations
I ordered two for matching recliners that were very difficult to use. I did not expect these handles to work so well! It makes the action much smoother in both directions. Also it was easy to install and took no additional tools. Terrific product!

solves difficult recliner handle
We used this on a Lane Stallion recliner. It was difficult to lift the reclining mechanism--after 2 weeks of hoping it would eventually work properly, we resorted to this lever extender and IMMEDIATELY we were able to lift the footrest!!!! Why did we wait so long. It is easy to install. It also curves out slightly from the chair so you get a better grip on it. THANK YOU STANDER.

It is amazing.
I was skeptical at first, when I received, I had to ask my husband to put it together for me because I have arthritis and could not do it. He had it snapped on in seconds. I set down and was amazed at how it easy was, I can reach and recline. I no longer have to kick my feet to make my recliner go back down so I can put my feet down. It is a joy! Love this product.
I was at my sister's at Thanksgiving and she has one of these. I loved it, ordered it, and love it even more now that it's mine. I don't actually need an extender handle, but it does make the movement of the arm much easier. I've had 2 rotator cuff surgeries on the right shoulder and have a slight tear again. So, bought this to help with the movement so I don't aggrevate it again. But I can actually more the regular arm up and down easily. But this, this makes it soooo much easier. I'd highly recommend this product. Because the handle is large I don't have to reach down so far to grab the lever. don't need it but glad I have it.

Recliner pull handle extender
Just had rotator cuff surgery and sit and sleep in a recliner with a lever for the foot rest and reclining of the chair. I just added this extender and I no longer have to lean over the side to reach the lever. The extender is made of a heavy duty metal and very easy to install by just loosening 4 screws, adjusting the reach according to your arm length, tighten the screws, sit back, put your hand down on the lever and no more pulling your body over the side just to reach the lever.

It works.
I got this for a petite lady who's 95 years old this year and about 100 pounds. This thing made an important difference for her when I installed it on her favorite recliner chair. She couldn't pull the lever back by herself before, not without straining more than she should, but now with this installed on it, she really can pull the lever back without a problem. It effectively lengthened the lever to make the work easier, and it's also a good shape for her hand to hold. I recommend this.

How did I live without having this Lever Extender
This universal recliner lever extender is an item I needed for years. Wasn't aware this product existed, All Occupational Therapists need to know this is an option for people. Having dysfunction of motor skills & dexterity reclining or moving forward to get up has been challenging over the years, requiring the arm strength of another person to assist. This extender simple to place on existing lever. Life has improved with this simple device, the process of reclining or moving forward takes zilch energy to maneuver. The product can be utilized by a vast majority of people not just older folks. Would be a great gift to a person who has a recliner & make life easier to relax in your chair knowing there is no effort involved.
